ALL
WORSHIP SERVICES - Sundays at 8:15* AM & 11:05 AM; and 6:00 PM
The preaching of God's Word is central to our worship, and we invite you to join us at these and other specially scheduled times throughout the year such as Thanksgiving Day, New Year's Day, Good Friday, Prayer Day, Ascension Day, etc. as we worship God and enjoy the Fellowship of His family!
*Summer Worship Schedule: 8:45 AM and 11:05 AM beginning the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and concluding on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Evening service remains at 6 PM
SUNDAY SCHOOL - Sundays from 9:40am to 10:40am
Open for everyone from ages three years old to adults! Classes meet on Sunday mornings (September through June) and cover everything from basic Bible stories to special electives dealing with various personal, theological and family issues. Age-appropriate Sunday School classes are offered for 3 year old children through 4th grade, and Catechism classes for 5th through 12th grade which include courses in Church History, Covenantal History, the Heidelberg Catechism, and more.
HOUSEHOLDS - Sermon Discussion for Families
Households is a sermon discussion group for families. Household groups meet whenever there is a "Household Sunday" to share a meal together and discuss the sermon. Households generally meet once a month during September through May. The small group Bible studies meet in the Fellowship Hall and in various homes throughout our area. Households provide a wonderful opportunity for physical and spiritual refreshment and for mutual encouragement of one another.
YOUTH
G.E.M.S - 1st & 3rd Fridays of each Month - 7 PM to 9 PM - Meets in the Classrooms
A Ministry for girls ages 7 to 12. We have Bible lessons, crafts, games and merit badge work. This is an enjoyable time of Fellowship as we learn about loving God and serving others.
CADETS - 1st & 3rd Fridays of each Month - 7 PM to 9 PM - Meets in Fellowship Hall
A Ministry for boys ages 7 to 12. We enjoy such things as learning camping skills, earning merit badges, Bible lessons, games and outdoor activities such as our annual snow Derby and other special events.
JUNIOR HIGH YOUTH GROUP - 2nd & 4th Fridays of each Month - 7 PM to 9 PM - Meets in the Ministry Center
We welcome all 6th through 8th grade students to our meetings and events. Meetings consist of games, food, and the study of God's Word. Fun activities and events take place a few times each year including our annual Spring Retreat!
SENIOR HIGH YOUTH GROUP - 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Wednesdays of each Month - 7:15 PM to 9 PM (optional hangout time until 9:30 PM) - Meets in the Ministry Center
We enjoy activities and events, Afterglows (fellowship and sermon discussion), a Fall Retreat, service projects, the Reformed Youth Services National Youth Convention, Reformed Mission Services Teens All Serving Christ (TASC) mission trip, and more! All high school studnets are encouraged to join us as we seek to glorify God as we live life together.
YOUNG ADULT
COLLEGE & CAREER - 1st & 3rd Sundays of each month - 8 PM to 10 PM - Meets in the Ministry Center
Our group of young adults singles ranges from ages 18 to 30 years old. We enjoy Bible studies and fellowship along with delicious meals at each of our meetings. We occasionally plan events together and often get together for sponateous fun. We enjoy doing Christian service together and going on retreats such as the Reformed Youth Services LOGOS Conference.
MEN'S & WOMEN'S
ADULT FELLOWSHIP/YOUNG COUPLES CLUB
Meets as scheduled and provides an opportunity for fun, fellowship and perhaps the meeting of new friends! Ministry meetings may include bowling, edifying movies, dinners out and other fun activities.
THE SENIOR CIRCLE - 3rd Tuesday of each Month - 1:15 PM to 3 PM - Meets in the Fellowship Hall
A Bible study and Fellowship group for members and friends of the congregation who are 55 years of age and older. Our times together include singing, refreshments, Bible study and prayer as well as an occasional outing such as a Fall Color Tour. New attendees are always welcome.
WOMEN
WOMEN'S MORNING BIBLE STUDY - 2nd & 4th Thursdays from 10 AM to 11:30 AM - Meets in the Fellowship Hall
Welcome to all women for a study of God's Word geared toward growing as Godly women and fostering Christian friendships.
LADIES FRIENDSHIP CIRCLE - 1st & 3rd Tuesdays from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM (Sept. - June)
Offers an interesting evening studying various topics in the Bible with women of all ages. Come and enjoy good conversation, Bible study, refreshments and Fellowship.
ON EAGLES' WINGS - 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of each Month - 7 PM to 9 PM - Meets in the Ministry Center
This Ministry for women provides opportunities for Bible study, Fellowship, discussion and mutual support while covering a wide range of practical life-related topics and Biblical themes.
MEN
MEN'S BIBLE STUDY BREAKFAST - Wednesdays - 6:45 AM to 7:45 AM - Miranda's Restaurant (Route 23 North in Wayne)
The Men's Bible Study typically goes through books of the Bible one chapter at a time. The men enjoy breakfast while reading and studying the Bible passage led by Pastor Kuiken.
ADDITIONAL MINISTRIES
MUSIC MINISTRY
Geared toward providing special music to glorify God through choir anthems and special music programs, as well as through the musical talents of our members and guests. Choir rehearses on Sundays at 4:30 PM.
MEDIA MINISTRY
Maintained in order to keep record of our sermons and to distribute them to shut-ins, travelers, and our online audience. Sermons are available for loan or donation from our CD/Tape library located in the Fellowship Hall. Our website also serves as a free and immediate resource for listening to sermons.
NURSERY
Our nursery is divided into various sections for the care and well-being of children from their birth through their 3rd birthday. The nursery is clean and well equipped to keep children occupied throughout the services. It is staffed by female volunteers from the congregation.
CHURCH LIBRARY
Consistent with our church's mission to "disciple you to where Christ wants you to be," our Library serves as a resource to all of the church's ministries. With over 1,600 volumes, our library contains solid information for all ages and all depth of knowledge. It also has a large section of Christian fiction and a Video section that provides good entertainment and sound instruction.
